FEATURED VOLUNTEER ACTION
The Rosetta Project is an online library of fine illustrated antique children's books, which has grown from the work of a single man with a handful of books in 1996 to a vibrant volunteer driven organisation, publishing new books and translations every week. These days the library contains tens of thousands of beautiful illustrated pages which have been gathered together over the years by volunteers.
It accepts books in all languages and their plan is to include sound files of the books so that all the children world-wide can read and listen to these stories. Categories of books range from 'Pre-Reader' right through to 'Adult Readers'. They also have multi media books as well as books with audio.
Ways in which you can help out are by donating books, scanning in books or translating the books into various languages. They are after books that were published before 1930.
This action can be found here in the 'Book Scanning Category' category.
